  21.     Setting the S10 register to something quite low (eg lowering it to
  22. S10=5 from the default of S10=14) MAY help, but it might not. 
  23. Unfortunatly your problem is that v.34 and LAP-M are just too good at what
  24. they do.  They're not supposed to lose connections due to line noise, so
  25. when they hear the call-waiting bleep, they do everything they can to
  26. correct what they see as a line impairment..
